Well guys, as requested the Dyno Meet is here. Thanks to our friends from Performance Race Solutions we are able to create this event. So get your ride ready, get those ponies in your trunk and let’s see what you got. This time we are going to do something interesting which is why the meet is called The Dyno Challenge. Let’s see how much you know your car. The day of the meet you will tell us your guess of how much Horsepower you think you have under your hood, then we are going to get it into the Dyno. The person who guess the closest number to the Dyno number qualify to be one of the 3 Winners of The Dyno Challenge so good luck to all and let’s have a great turn out.

XE AutoCross April

Our first ever autocross event was a great success, so much so that we are doing it again. Come out and join us for a great time, whether you are spectating or racing.

Price:
Its $30 to participate plus $15 for a weekend membership fee for a total of $45. They accept cash or check, no credit/debit cards.

8:00am – 9:00am – Onsite Registration/Check-in (everyone must check in by 9am
8:00am – 9:30am – Tech Inspection
8:30am – 9:30am – Course Open for walking
9:15am – 9:45am – Novice Walk-through
9:45am – 10:00am – Driver’s Meeting (course closed for walking)

Well we skipped the last monthly meet because a lot of events and activities going on, but this time is a go. Don’t forget to join us at Hooters in Kirkmand Road for some wings, some chat and good time. We have a lot to share after these past two events XE Goes to War and the Autocross. XE AutoCross

Are you ready for some extra fun with your car? Racing straight is not enough for you? Well we got something for you and your friends. Here at XECOFL has been in contact with our friends at Central Florida Region AutoCross and we will be participating on their next event which is on April 1st in Geneva, FL. Where:
Geneva, FL – Gun Range Rd
From I-95:
take State Road 46 west for about 17 miles.
At corner of 426 & SR-46 (last place for food and gas), turn north on 1st street. Go to the end and turn left as street turns into Geneva Heights Rd.
Turn right onto Old Geneva Road and go north.
Turn right at W Osceola Road and go 2.8 miles.
Turn left onto Gun Range Road. Go all the way to the end, it’ll be a bumpy ride.

OK guys, I’ve been in contact with Hard Knocks for a group event in their facilities and so far it seems it will be a very interesting event. This War Game is painless and they have all kind of missions and 3 different Combat Zones. Start reserving your day.

7th Annual CFL Law Enforcement Car Show

This is an annual car show that is held at the Oviedo Mall. It is hosted by the Oviedo- Winter Springs Optimist Club in corporation with the Oviedo Police Department and this year the Winter Springs Police Department joined along.

Public cars compete in public classes and the cop cars/helicopters that they bring out compete in some other classes.

December Meet Location

Hello XE Members,

Usually every First Saturday of each month we meet at the Buffalo Wild Wing at Semoran and Red Bud Lake. We are planning to change that location since we are not getting the support that we were looking for. Also from our last All Florida Meet we have some burgers and buns that got left over and we don’t want that go to waste. That is why our last/next monthly meet will be hosted at Blanchard Park on Dean Road.

Come join us and eat free burgers and drinks. We only have 32 patties so first come first serve. Here is the information of the park and we hope to see you there:

This past event on November 19, 2011 is over but the memories will stay forever. We want to thank all the people that showed up and participated on this event, specially for those that don’t live in Central Florida and drove long distance to be with us THANK YOU! Also I want to thank Sandra, Joey and Pete for becoming the cheff for all of us doing the burgers and hotdogs meal, thank you to our DJ Frank that provided the music and kept us in a good mood the whole day and thanks to Don that provided the generator for Frank to play his music and anyone else that helped keeping the event organized. So thanks All cause without you guys this event would had never happened.

We had a great time, we had over 50 cars and we had a great weather. We had some Grill going on for Burgers and Hotgdogs. We had some Football Flag game, Soccer and other activities. After the event we went to Fun Spot where we also had a great time driving Go-karts and racing each other like little kids. After that we continue the night for some Sushi. It was definetively another successful event and getting bigger ever year. Since we are an event forum and not a car specifc forum we had all different brands and models: Mitsubishi, Nissan, Hyundai, Honda, Mazda, Mini Cooper, Dodge and if I forgot a brand forgive me.

We also had a Car Show Test where some of the people participated and let us judge their cars. We called it test because we are gathering data for our first XE Car Show next year but information is still top secret. We had some winners and we decided to select the top 5 Winners for this event:

Our car meets are usually once a month and vary in locations, but usually they are either in Orlando, Miami, or Tampa.
